When I close my KeyShot and CAD program for the day and I open it the next day I no longer have live linking between both programs. Why does this happen and how can I fix this? This is a common question asked by users who use our Plugins for KeyShot but have to restart their computer or close their programs for the day.
Re-establishing a live link between KeyShot and CAD software.1. Open your file in your CAD software. 2. Open your bip/ksp file in KeyShot that was being worked on. 3. Go into your CAD software and use the plugin to export a bip file. 4. Import the bip file into your KeyShot's existing scene and select Update Geometry. 5. Once the file is imported into KeyShot you have restored your Live-Linking between both applications.
