unlocked license

Hi. I used keyshot education ver but I can't use it now. Because of Covid-19 I can't use my computer which in my Univ(I use License for this computer). But now, I use my laptop in my house so i can't use my license again... I should use keyshot but I can't. Can you help me?

KeyShot serial codes can only be registered on one computer at a time. However, you can transfer the license between two computers by deactivating the license. Please make sure both machines are hooked up to the internet during the license transfer. We'll refer to the two computers as Computer A (currently holds the license) and Computer B (currently unregistered). If you are unable to deactive your license, Skip to Step 3.
 
License Transfer Instructions:
 
1. In Computer A, go to Help > Show License Information and write down your serial code.
2. Go to KeyShot (Mac) or Help (Windows) > Deactivate License on this Computer. This will deactivate the license and release your serial code from our server.
  • Note: A window will appear letting you know the license has been deactivated. If you do not receive this message, please try again.
3. In Computer B, open KeyShot and select Activate your license from the registration wizard.
  • Note: If you are currently in demo mode, then open the registration wizard from Help (Windows) or KeyShot (Mac) > Register License
4. Follow the prompts to register your serial code and activate your license.
5. If you are unable to register your serial code, select 'Save Request File'.
6. Respond to this message and attach the Request File.
  • Our Support team will create a license for you to install to your KeyShot software.
 
Please let us know if you require further assistance.

I recently upgraded my computer hardware and Key shot will not open.  I can not get past the activation screen even with the key code.

I've tried all that and it says license is tied to an upgrade.  Still won't work.

My apologies, I was under the impression that it is a KeyShot license you purchased and not one provided by the university's floating license server. If it is indeed your license, from your home computer send us a request file and we will deactivate your license manually.

 To Create A Request File:
     1. Start KeyShot and select "Activate your license" from the registration wizard.
     2. *Note* If you are currently in "Demo" mode, then open the registration wizard from Help (Windows) or KeyShot (Mac) > Register License.
     3. Enter your information and click Continue.
     4. Enter your serial code.
     5. Click Save request file and send that file to us as an attachment.

Once we receive the request file from you, we will be able to generate your license.

If it is a license provided by your university, create a request file and use the serial code 'LUXIONKEYSHOTTESTING'. Send us the request file along with the name of your University and proof of attendance (student id, transcript, etc) to receive a 30 day temporary license to use until things get back to normal.

If it is your license and do not remember your serial code, our staff at sales@luxion.com will be able to find your information and provide you with the serial code. Please have your purchase information on hand so they can better assist you.
